Today our staff was contacted by one of our patrons to report they had recieved a phone from a party identifying themselves as being the "water department" and informing the patron that they had failed to "signed the check submitted with the monthly waterbill". The party calling went on to explain that the patron could provide their credit card number and avoid additional charges to their water bill. After the patron asked for a name and phone number the caller hung up.

Fact: Platte 4 employees will never fail to identify themselves.

Fact: Platte 4 will not ask for your credit card information over the phone.

Fact: If you are contacted by a caller asking for your credit information attempt to collect as much information as you can and call the police and notify our office @ 816-858-2782.
